In accordance with the task 2.4 of the Erasmus+ project Jean Monnet EUPress, students and teachers from Poland and Romania met in a joint educational activity.

Euractiv interviewed a Polish student about what happened.

E: How did you feel about getting to know the Romanian students?

Student: “When I learned about the fact that we were going to have an online integration lesson I could not contain my excitement. I rushed to prepare an online quiz about Poland with my friends, and after school we helped to set up the equipment for the call. We had no idea about what was coming”.

E: Could you tell us a little about how the meeting went?

Student: “When the day came, my classes ended fairly soon, so I chose to spend the remaining time out of school to calm myself down. When the hour of the meeting came, it turned out that there had been a misunderstanding regarding the start time and the Romanian group were to be slightly late. All that because of a different time zone. Lesson learnt! When time was right and both parties were ready, we started talking. Both groups introduced themselves and the Romanians presented facts about their country, after which we all started playing the “Kahoot” (online quiz) we made earlier. The whole time, we were experiencing no shortage of technical difficulties, nevertheless, in my opinion, the call was a success. After that, we thanked each team, said goodbyes and ended the call.
