In this Special Report, Euractiv Italia presents a collection of five in-depth articles written by students from Italy, Spain, Poland, and Romania as part of the EU-funded project EUPress. These articles are the final outcome of a Collaborative Workshop that brought together young Europeans to work in international editorial teams, simulating the dynamics of a real cross-border newsroom.
Over several weeks, the students researched, discussed, and co-authored journalistic content on key issues shaping the future of the European Union. Each group focused on one major topic, selected from today’s most pressing European debates.
The five topics explored in this Special Report are:
- Follow-up to the conclusions of the Conference on the Future of Europe
- European Foreign, Security and Defence Policy
- European Economic Governance
- European Social Pillar
- European Digital and Green Transition Challenge
The articles reflect both the complexity of the EU’s current agenda and the students’ commitment to understanding and communicating these challenges with clarity and civic awareness. Together, they offer a fresh and informed look at the future of Europe through the eyes of its youngest citizens.
