From 14 to 19 October, the #ErasmusDays animated schools and universities across Europe with events dedicated to the Erasmus+ programme, a symbol of cooperation and cultural exchange.

The ENAC (Ente Nazionale Canossiano ETS) also organised with Canossa Erasmus a live marathon involving students, teachers and school staff, who wanted to share their experiences of international mobility.

During the live broadcast, trips and projects that took students to countries like Spain, Austria, France, Sweden and Belgium were recounted. Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, students and teachers were able to take part in group mobilities, internships, job shadowing and training courses, enriching not only their professional skills but also their human background.

The speeches highlighted how these experiences offer unique opportunities for personal and professional growth. The students, in particular, enthusiastically described how contact with new cultures and educational systems broadened their horizons, improving their knowledge of languages and fostering greater open-mindedness.

The Erasmus Days are an opportunity to reflect on the impact of the Erasmus+ programme in promoting inclusion, innovation and active citizenship.

Events such as the one organised by ENAC with Canossa Erasmus demonstrate that international mobility is not just an individual experience, but a value that enriches entire communities, creating lasting bonds and exchanges of ideas that transcend geographical and cultural boundaries.

With over 13 million participants across Europe since its launch in 1987, Erasmus+ continues to represent one of the European Union’s most important initiatives for education, training and building a common future based on dialogue and cooperation.
